Sportiqe Reinvents Fan Fashion: What's wURKEN?

NEW YORK (MainStreet) —Jason Franklin, the co-founder of apparel brand Sportiqe, is the product of two contrasting environments: his grandmother's knit shop in Chicago where he spent enchanting Sundays as a young child and the United Center, where starting at 15 he was a ballboy during the Michael Jordan's second three-peat with the Chicago Bulls.

Franklin's sports obsession and his flair for fashion combined in his creation of a company that allows the fans of NBA and NHL teams to look sharp with hip, vintage-inspired clothing. Sportiqe has expanded toward more brands and just yesterday launched an ESPN-line collaboration at Bloomingdale's. For What's wURKEN?, Franklin takes us through the history of his company and his business strategy in tapping into people's fanaticism and thirst for brandware that actually looks good. Could a Sportiqe-NFL partnership be in the works? Watch the video below to find out.
