Morning Deals: $2 Subs at Subway

NEW YORK (MainStreet) – Subway has announced that December is “customer appreciation month,” and the sandwich chain is offering 6-inch subs for just $2. The two eligible subs are the cold cut combo and the meatball marinara. That means that it’s actually more cost-effective to buy two 6-inch subs than a single $5 footlong. Note that prices and participation may vary. Also, in case you were wondering, the featured $5 footlong this month is the western egg-and-cheese flatbread sandwich.

If you spend $50 or more at Target, the retailer will give you a free $10 gift card with your purchase. All you need to do is print out this coupon and hand it to the cashier when you make your purchase. Note that it’s one of those printable coupons for which you need to install a special printer program. The coupon is only good through Saturday, so hurry in.

LivingSocial is now venturing into fast food territory. The daily deal giant is teaming up with McDonald’s to offer five Big Macs and five orders of large fries for just $13, a savings of 50%. When you purchase the deal you’ll receive a booklet with vouchers for the food. The deal itself is currently set to expire around 5 a.m. EST Friday, but once you get the vouchers, they never expire (unless McDonald’s closes down, which doesn’t seem likely).
