The position:
University Relations Advisor for Tyco Electronics (Stock Quote: TEL)

Location: Berwyn, Penn.

Job duties:
Responsible for undergraduate and graduate level recruiting for the company's target colleges and universities. The advisor will build and effectively partner with strong cross-functional recruiting teams in order to meet talent acquisition goals. He or she will also be responsible for helping to identify strategic alliances that will allow the company to meet its short-term and long-term recruiting objectives. The advisor plays an active role in the development and execution of the recruiting strategy for both full-time and intern hires, and will manage on-campus recruiting events and activities. The advisor will coordinate resume reviews and manage all aspects of the interview and call back process.

Tyco Electronics is a global provider of electronic components, network solutions and undersea telecommunications systems. The company designs and manufactures products for a wide range of industries, including consumer electronics, automotive, aerospace, defense and energy.  

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree is required. Applicants must have three to five years of previous university relations experience, including familiarity with immigration and visa requirements. This role requires expertise with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Candidates must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and an ability to multi-task. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates must have a proven ability to work in a team environment.
