The position: Game design course director for Full Sail University

Location:
Winter Park, Fla.

Job duties: Will develop curriculum and teach the Design Project course for the Game Design Bachelor of Science program. This class challenges students to work in teams to generate ideas, design playable components around those ideas and document their decisions through a collaborative and analytical process. A main priority of this position is to help students appreciate the complexity of collaborative game design and to assist them in fine tuning the application of their technical design skills.  

The company: Full Sail University is a university offering degrees in program areas related to video games, music, entertainment, design and computer animation. They also offer online degree programs. Around 35,000 students have graduated from Full Sail since it opened in 1979.

Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) and at least four years of professional experience working in the game industry. Must have strong communication and online presentation skills, with previous experience working in an education environment preferred. Requires a proven ability to create effective and engaging course curriculum.
