The position: Creative technologist for NY Times (Stock Quote: NYT)

Location: New York City

Job duties: Will be part of a team that creates and builds innovative prototypes for the newspaper's advertisers, and will develop prototypes from concept to implementation. Will brainstorm ideas, both individually and as part of a team. Will build prototypes and wireframes for new concepts. Collaborates with advertisers, developers and other team members to help achieve team goals. Responsible for presenting new ideas and prototypes to diverse groups.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree is preferred. Must be able to combine data, creativity and technology to meet the needs of advertisers while also serving the NY Times brand. Requires solid understanding of web development and experience with HTML, JavaScript and CSS, along with proven proficiency with a major programming language. Must be able to visually represent ideas using tools and programs such as Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects and others. Requires experience in rapid prototyping and product development.
