Earth Day Deal: Free Bag at Target

NEW YORK (MainStreet) – Earth Day is fast approaching, and you know what that means: Free stuff!

We’ve already noted that Starbucks will give away free coffee on Earth Day (April 22) if you bring in a reusable mug. Target is also getting in on the action by offering free reusable bags on April 17.

Target ran the promotion last year and claims that it ran out bags in a matter of hours, so we suggest checking the site to find out what time your local store opens that day. Be warned that you have to purchase something to actually get the bag, though we suppose you could just grab a pack of gum or something. In any case, reusable bags are good for the environment – the alternative is landfill-clogging plastic bags – so it’s certainly worth it.

There’s a limit of one bag per guest, and the promotion runs on April 17 only while supplies last.
