NEW YORK (MainStreet)Miki Agrawal has done cool sh*t. Many entrepreneurs have pipe dreams of starting companies but lack the executition prowess. Agrawal came on What's wURKEN? to discuss her book "DO COOL Sh*T: Quit Your Day Job, Start Your Own Business, and Live Happily Ever After (HarperBusiness, 2013), in which she chronicles how she has thought outside the box to network, marshal capital and realize her creative ideas in the business world.
Since quitting her day job in finance and playing professional soccer for the New York Magic, she has gone on to create a Manhattan farm-to-table pizza restaurant called WILD, a branch of which Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh is helping her open in Las Vegas. She also started THINX, an underwear company with a special twist.
