VIDEO Little Fashion Plates, Big Price Tags

While most of the fashion world concentrates its time and effort on adults, some designers focus on a smaller (literally) market: Children’s luxury fashion.

If parents are willing to pay for it, their kids can now strut around town wearing the finest designer threads like Baby Phat Boys and Girls, Baby CZ, The English Roses, and Little by Lyttle. These luxury brands for babies, toddlers and tweens allow young customers to experience details associated with more adult clothing lines, such as hand beading and premium fabrics.

And, while these little duds often come with big price tags, they offer their clients choices that aren’t available anywhere else. “Kids deserve to wear nice clothes just like adults do,” says Donnette Lyttle, founder of Little by Lyttle. The designer also had some other insights on industry when MainStreet TV caught up with her recently at the Children’s Club.
