Earlier in May, AdAge reported on their blog that a politically-minded Christian group, who call themselves “The Resistance,” is rallying the faithful to boycott Starbucks (SBUX).
Why? The Resistance described their reasoning in a press release, which was later quoted by AdAge's blog: "The Starbucks logo has a naked woman on it with her legs spread like a prostitute... It's extremely poor taste, and the company might as well call themselves, Slutbucks."
This call against the coffee merchant is not the first time the debit-card wielding proletariat has found corporate practices or advertising in poor taste or politically incorrect.
