From the East Coast to the Midwest, Store to Door offers portable storage spaces that measure eight feet by five feet with an inside height of seven feet. They can hold up to an average room to a room-and-a-half of furniture up to 2,000 pounds. For coastal states, you can also use Door to Door, and for the South, Midwest and West Coast, there’s UNITS.
Mobile storage is also available through PODS, which brings you empty storage container to you whenever you choose, and schedule a pickup when you’re ready. They’ll move you locally or nationally and service more than 22,000 cities in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
The average cost of a PODS container is $105 to $160 per month and the average range for initial delivery is $50 to $100, depending on your location and number of months you plan to use the PODS. Using PODS to move costs about $3,535 on average, according to PODS marketing manager Daphne Rightmyer.
