New Orleans Homes Made for Mardi Gras

For many Americans, Mardi Gras is just another Tuesday but in Louisiana, Fat Tuesday is a state holiday and one of the biggest events of the year.

The first recorded celebration of Mardi Gras on Louisiana soil was in 1699 by French explorers. Some 300 years later, the holiday is a state symbol as much as the fleur de lis.

In honor of New Orleans’ iconic holiday, we’re showcasing a few homes for sale within walking distance of the biggest parade routes and party spots — feathers and beads not included.
