At long last, Sex and the City (TWC) premiered May 27 at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
And while desperate fans offered themselves up as premiere dates and people with too much money offered $6,500 for after-party tickets, the rest are waiting until Friday, May 30 to assuage our Carrie-fever.
Are movie ticket prices as out-of-control as tickets to the U.S. premiere? MainStreet continues to monitor NYC’s Craigslist message board, and except for one $30 ticket to a supposedly sold-out show, there’s nary a ticket extortion to be found. (Keep in mind that movie tickets in NYC usually cost between $10 and $12, plus tax if you buy them online.) If you’ve got to go on opening night, here are a few tickets we found online:
