Packaging Luxury and Delivering It Express

SAN DIEGO (MainStreet) — Think of it as one-stop shopping for luxury gift giving.

Want to give someone a 24-karat gold photo frame? This website has it.

Or perhaps a set of lead crystal decanters packaged in a Macassar ebony and walnut carrier? That too is available.

The website? EstaRomi.com, launching officially today.

Founded by Bukola Rominiyi, the site’s mission is to refine the art of luxury giving.

“It’s all about luxury,” Rominiyi says. “That’s the focus.”

The ultra-cool, Britain-based website brings together products from a variety of luxury brands, including Acqua di Parma, David Linley and L’Atelier du Vin.

But this is not Amazon.com for the wealthy.

The site does more than just simply offer luxury products for sale. The “art” of gift giving from this site comes via its unique bundles of luxury items, or ready-made gift boxes. EstaRomi’s gift boxes, or “curated collections” as they are called, are organized for men and women and by occasion, such as birthday or housewarming. There’s also more unique categories, such as “The Sartorial Man,” “The Belle Maison,” “Trimmings and Toys,” “The Gourmand” or “The Lady.”

“The Lady” includes a Scottish cashmere scarf, leather purse spray, cosmetic case and matching handbag.

“The Sartorial Man” includes books, desk toys, fragrances, a leather hip flask and vodka to fill the flask.

There’s even a “Formula 1” gift box designed for the racing enthusiast that includes such things as a remote controlled Ferrari Enzo race car, a bottle of Bollinger, leather driving gloves by Aspinal of London and brass cufflinks.

For those who prefer to peruse the site’s offerings and assemble their own custom box of luxurious goodies, that too is an option. The site helpfully organizes items for sale under inspirational categories such as “The Trendsetter,” “The Globetrotter,” “The Book Enthusiast” and “The Gadget Lover.”
