Why Hillary's Name Is Worth $7,165 More Than Obama's

How much is your name worth?

Wonder no more. Stockpickr.com’s new Facebook application, NameFolio provides its users with just that. That is because the application, created by Stockpickr and Promotions.com, both part of MainStreet’s parent company, TheStreet.com (TSCM), generates a mock portfolio containing 1,000 shares of each company whose ticker symbols, when placed together, spell out the name of an individual user.

For instance, although Rachel Ray’s tipping habits suggest she may be cheap, her NameFolio is really rich. According to the application, the chef and talk show host's name is currently worth $555,880. At least that’s what her name spelled out in ticker symbols is worth; Ryder System Inc. (R), Aluminum CP Chin (ACH), SPDR DJ Wilshire (ELR), Agilent Tech Inc. (A), and Alleghany CP (Y).

“Fun, viral and educational,” is how James Altucher, president of Stockpickr.com, describes the application which also allows its users a new take on Facebook’s users favorite pastime: Checking up on friends and enemies. Now, users can see how their name’s value compares to that of all their Facebook friends (and "frenemies").

Here’s how some of today’s biggest rivals stack up against each other:
