The Mariners invite you to "get on board the Collectible Mariners Train Car series." On June 4, the first 20,000 fans at Safeco Field will receive this year's collectible train, a Felix Hernandez High-Octane Gas Co. car. Past editions include the 2000 Mariners Express Engine, the 2003 Boonie Box Car in honor of Bret Boone, the 2006 "A-Train" for Adrian Beltre, and the 2008 J.J. Putz Flamethrower Express.
Safeco Field will host singles nights on June 19 and Sept. 3. On these nights, the Mariners play matchmaker by seating single people in one section in the stadium. If you buy an exclusive singles-night ticket, your first beverage at the pre-game party is on the house.
Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays will offer fans post-game concerts. On May 15, hip hop artist Nelly will perform after the Rays take on the Mariners. Daryl Hall and John Oates will take the field after the game on May 29 and the Go-Go's will perform on July 10. Make sure you bring the freebie from the May 8 game in case the artists need "more cowbell."
During the season, the Rays will dole out 13 different collectible shirts, superhero capes and Carlos Pena toothbrush holders.
At Miller Park there is something for everyone. Spring Madness, Stitch N' Pitch, "Fang-tastic" and "Brew Crew and the Zoo" are a few of the promotions planned at the ballpark this year.
During Spring Madness, April 26-28, the team cuts the price of $30 tickets in half. Fans can also buy small sodas and Klement's hot dogs for $1 each.
In the Brew Crew and the Zoo deal, fans get free tickets to the Milwaukee County Zoo and tote bags when they buy a ticket to one of seven games for $18.
On Aug. 11, Miller Park will invite needle artists to sit in Stitch N' Pitch sections and stop by teaching tables around the stadium. The first 1,000 crafters will get a special edition Brewers Stitch N' Pitch Bernie Brewer Bobble Head dolls.
