If you've got a little one at home, check the following recalls to see if you have a product that could pose a hazard.
The week's roster of recalled products includes cribs, rattles, portable play yards, children's sunglasses, baby clothes and toy xylophones. Other faulty products recalled this week include dishwashers, circular saws, vanity stools, shades and blinds, apples and bicycles.

PRODUCT: Stork Craft baby cribs in the U.S. and Canada, and made in Canada, China and Indonesia by Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. of British Columbia, Canada. The cribs were sold at such stores as J.C. Penney, Kmart, Wal-Mart, as well as online at amazon.com, babiesrus.com, costco.com and walmart.com. They were available from May 2000 until January 2009.
HOW MANY: More than 1 million, including about 535,000 in the U.S. and 494,000 in Canada.
WHY: The metal mattress-support brackets can crack and break, potentially causing the mattress to collapse and create a gap where a child could get trapped or suffocate. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is aware of 10 incidents of support brackets that broke. In one incident, a child was trapped between the mattress and the side rail but wasn't injured. Health Canada, the country's health care agency, has received one complaint in which a bracket failed. No injury resulted from that incident.

PRODUCT: Rainforest portable play yards, made in China by Simplicity Inc. and SFCA Inc., of Reading, Pa. The recalled products have Rainforest theme artwork and bear the Fisher-Price logo. They were sold with a bassinet, changing table and mobile features. The Simplicity model numbers are 5310 RNF, 5310RNFC and 5310RNFW. They were sold by retailers and specialty children's stores nationwide from January 2007 through this month.
HOW MANY: About 200,000.
WHY: One or more rails can collapse unexpectedly, posing a fall or entrapment hazard to young children. There have been at least 1,350 reports of one or more rails collapsing. Numerous reports indicate some children received bumps and bruises when the side rail collapsed. There were five reports of injuries to children, including a broken nose, a broken wrist, a mild concussion, a chipped tooth and a cut to the hand which required stitches.

PRODUCT: Infantino Lion and Lamb Grabby rattles, made in China by Infantino LLC, of San Diego, Calif. The recalled toys are shaped like a lamb or lion. They were sold at Wal-Mart, Babies R Us and other specialty stores nationwide from May 2007 through September 2008.
HOW MANY: About 131,000. This expands an earlier recall of 20,000 rattles in March 2008.
WHY: The tailpiece on the rattles can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children. The company has received 10 reports of the rattle's tail piece detaching since March 2008. No injuries have been reported.

PRODUCT: Children's sunglasses, made in China and imported by Axiom International Inc., of Billings, Mont. The sunglasses have a spider web etched in between the eyes. They were sold by party stores, discount dollar stores and hardware stores nationwide from May 2007 through August 2008.
HOW MANY: About 5,300.
WHY: Surface paint on the product can contain high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

PRODUCT: Bosch and Siemens model dishwashers, made in the U.S. by BSH Home Appliances Corp., of Huntington Beach, Calif. The recalled products were sold at appliance and specialty retailers nationwide from May 1999 through December 2006.
HOW MANY: About 476,500.
WHY: An electrical component in certain dishwashers can overheat, posing a fire hazard to consumers. The company has received 51 reports of incidents, including 30 reports of fires resulting in property damage. No injuries have been reported.
