Sheetz
What They Do: Sheetz is a chain of large convenience stores and gas stations open around the clock. They offer a made-to-order menu of specialty coffee and foods like hoagies and burgers.
Types of Part-time Position(s) Available: Cashiers and MTO (made-to-order) food preparers. Sheetz has more than 350 locations in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina.
Desired Hours Per Week: Varies by location. Stores are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While this means there is flexibility in scheduling your hours around school or other obligations, it also means you’ll be expected to work at least some nights, weekends or holidays.

Starting Pay: Around $8.25 an hour; higher rate possible depending on prior experience.
Benefits: Employees working 32 hours per week or more are considered full-time and are eligible for benefits after three months. Part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in the employee benefits program after two years of employment. Benefits include 401(k) (company matched) fund, college tuition reimbursement, employee stock ownership plan, as well as medical, dental and vision plans.
Requirements: Prior retail or food service experience is preferred. Must pass a background check.
